Very clean work. Looks like it came that way from the factory.

Very nice! Did you do that just for looks or did you have clearance issues with the door? Regardless, sweet!

Nope, Tim did a set for our new 2015 Silverado we did for SEMA and I fell in love with them. So I had him do me a set, just so it's different than the normal door plastic 6x9 opening.

I really like that one. I like speakers that fire up from the floor, great height in sound.

Thanks all for kind words.

Trout, Im using the new IQ amps with time alignment, etc as well...31 band EQ onboard. Using a IQ500.4 on one set of QS674 and one IQ500.1 on a Comp Q 10" subwoofer, small sealed, about .70 cuft.

Nice Graygoose. I have been waiting for someone to use some IQ's. I have not been able to find pricing on them. Mind if I ask how much?

Yeah you have to dish out some info on those amps, they look pretty cool and could be a great way for a person to get into the tuning world.

They arent out just yet, only selected Q Class dealers will get the new IQ, new L7 and Comp Q woofer.
I'm lucky to get test equipment :D

Boooo! LOL! Yes you are lucky but you are involved.

I've seen the videos on the IQ series, pretty impressive but they seem to want to gear these units to just dealers for dealer installation only and not for direct end user installation. ????? Thoughts ??

Pricing is VERY key and I am getting the feeling it's the "If you have to ask, you can't afford it" approach. The front end DSP portion is backed by some nice software, innovative compared to other DSP manufacturers but the actual workings in the DSP are not as robust as some of the big DSP players. If pricing is more than a good DSP / good amp combo sales could be slow.

You'll also have many say "I like a separate DSP unit, if my amp breaks, I can quickly replace, yada yada". I'll never understand that mentality but that is what people do.

It will mainly be sold to retailers that can clarify what exactly the processing, equalization, time alignment, slope slection, processing does. Most E online retailers dont spend as much depth in communicating with a potential customer.
Adding on more off processing can potentially add more noise. Anytime you add another inline piece you take a chance. Usually it's not an issue, but in times it has as well. (cheap LOC used, cheap RCA, cables)

pricing will settle once out, we all know our site will be HIGH end MSRP. I think once they hit the market, people will see the full value to them compared to whats out there.

Hopefully mine is done today or tomorrow...more after I spend time on it I can give a full review. :)
