I have a 2019 Laramie the truck rides great however the gremlins in that 12 in screen are about to drive me crazy. I’ve checked the form and didn’t see my issue. So here goes, driving down the road with the ac set to cool and then my wife uses the screen controls to turn the fan speed up and make it hot or colder on her side , sometimes the heat comes on and both temps go to 78 degrees and front and rear defrost buttons light up . At this point I can’t control the temp in the veh without pulling over and turning off the veh and open the door to reset the ac. Dealer says they can’t fix what they can’t reproduce. Anyone have any ideas? Please help I have videos
I am going to shoot from the hip here since all this tech is new. Have you tried resetting the vehicle's computer by removing the positive terminal from the battery and taking it to chassis ground to discharge all the capacitors thus erasing all programmed memories and codes? Before you do this, read your manual about removing the battery on your vehicle to verify the things to look for when replacing your battery. This is an old electronics trick that we used in the aviation community to reset the systems when they refuse to program.
