New on this forum, currentlu own a 2006 1500, just at 70k and a nice little PU/Shortbed. I am 75+ in age, hip surgery a couple years ago,
and am beginning to experience difficulty in shifting the 6-speed. Any comment on a transmission swap to automatic, I would love to keep
the truck, but unsure just how long I can shift.. thanks, kb

Welcome. probably gonna find it's easier to trade for an automatic instead of swapping trans. at 77, I wouldnt want to do it.

I’m beginning to think a trade would be easier also, dealers top is no more then $3200 in this area. Thanks to all, I’m going to hang on to this one and see what happens.. kb
