Just made a trade for my neighbors 2003 Ram 1500 SLT.. 5.7 Hemi.. he got my 08 Subaru. Both vehicles had 125,000 miles. He was the original owner and used it to pull a tag-along camper.
We did an even trade.
I bought a brand new 01 Dakota crew cab 4x4 loaded in 01' but I prefer the full sized trucks.. I've owned an 05' F-250 Super Duty Lariat Diesel and 2011 Chevy 1500 Silverado Crew cab.
This was a marriage of convenience. I'll attach pictures if possible. I've busted my **** on this truck since the trade 2 weeks ago. Bought Dodge 20 inch wheels (take-offs) , tinted. Sanded, compounded and polished out headlights.. compounded and waxed paint. Built a center console for my HAM radios.. LED head lights, New driving lights, soon to be LED bulbs as well.. My list of "Honey Do's include but not limited to..
Repaint Bed cover (faded bad)
Lower rear by 1.5 inches to level it.
Install 4in. oval chrome step / nerf bars.
K&N intake, exhaust upgrade.(gasket leaking on passengers side) Keep it quiet but help with the 11 mpg.
Maybe a sun roof?
Upgrade the rear speakers.. front sound great.. rear, not so much.
So, I'm sure there will be questions, from here.
