New Owner - 2001 5.9 - San Diego

Hello Everyone!
I just picked up a 2001 Ram 1500 Laramie SLT Quad Cab (half doors). It's got the big V8, Off-road package. 1 owner truck, 166k miles. I'm super excited. My first American truck. Any tips you experts have would be awesome!

Nice find. I'm no expert but I remember the early Dodge's had rear end problems, couldn't handle the power or heavy loads. Not sure what years or what differentials. Just want to make you aware of a possible problem.

I plan on babying it around town. Not much towing or hauling. Just gotta get some maintenance done first
