New RAM from Alberta

Just joined the forum last week cause I was a 25 year ford man, but decided to go Ram all the way as they are very impressive. However, in saying that I have a power steering leak before the first 1000 Km. and it sound like the bearing is goinas there is a mean growl mixed in with the bad ass diesel rattle. Got it booked in on the 16th for a warranty fix, hope it makes it till then. I just keep addin fluid, a couple of ounces a day, but I'm only driving 80 Km per day. it started when the temp was about -32 Celcius, maybe that had something to do with it.

Thanks, I had a look in the heated quonset and it seems the threded nuts on the flared tubing in and out of the steering box are loose. They are ***** to get at so the dealer can tighten them. I am relieved though, the grinding sound is just the fan clutch.
