New ram, new member

Well , new to me. 2016 st quad cab. First ram. Second dodge. 06 Charger R/T. Guess my fist question on here would be, plugged my phone up too the usb in the console but the radio didn't recognise my phone. Basically told me no device waa hooked up. Haven't fooled with it much, but wondering, do I need to do more thsn just plug it in? Mess w settings? My phone is paired, Bluetooth works. Or, is it my phone? Is android not compatible with that radio? It's not the big screen radio. Small, I'm guessing 3 inch screen. Thanks for any help.

That I'm not sure. Uconnect. Small screen. Backup cam is in the rearview. It has media, push it and usb option comes up, just doesn't contect to my phone.

No it isn't. Went to take a picture of it for ya, decided to plug my phone in again. It works. Idk, didn't the first time I tried it. Does now. I appreciate the help tho.

On my 8.4an I have to select media on my phone, when using usb direct to media hub. A pop up comes up on my phone and has options like, charge only, media, midi etc
