Hello everyone, I bought a new 99 Dodge ram a month ago and I've been replacing various things on it and now I've reached the shocks. Currently it sits on a 4" suspension and 3" body lift with some rusted out shocks. I would like to get Bilstein 5100's for this truck. But I am unsure which type of shock would fit, I need four for the front and two for the rear.

I've always wanted a Ram and I just happened to acquire one for the first time, here is a pic.

any input would be appreciated

I just got a set of Bilsteins through one of our sponsors here at RF which is 3rdstrikeperformance. Duane met TGCs price and got them here quickly.

The shocks below will fit where your original shocks are. The outbound shocks will require you to measure thier extended and compressed length and also record what type mounts they use. Duane should be able to match them.

I would ask Duane from 3rd strike he would be able to help you out with part numbers and prices on what you would need.

I'll see about giving him a shout.

does anyone have an opinion of KYB shocks? I had two on a 4" lifted 99 yukon and they were stiff but seemed better than the old ones.

*EDIT
I'm noticing that alot of these shocks are sold as multi package deals, will these rear 3-4" shocks still work? I cant find front shocks by themselves for a 4-6" lift. (Bilstein doesnt have a 4-5" it seems)

Do you have any clue what size lift you have in the rear?
Typically it's 4" in the front and 2" in the rear and even though the shock package says for 3-4" the rear shock are the correct length
Pro comps website is pretty good for finding the specs on the length shocks you'll need

Well it has a 4" suspension and 3" body lift, I had a look over the rear and without measuring it looks to be 4" in the rear
