New sidearm or wheels???

Alright well first I have no idea if this is in the right section but I think it is. With my tax return I was originally thinking to get new wheels for my rig, I was looking at octanes, kranks, something with a lip basically. But now I'm thinking of getting a new sidearm. I will be promoting to officer in 5 months and I was looking at getting a new glock 21. I can get it for $400 with LE pricing, I just have to get my department to give me a letter stating I am promoting soon. Now what do you guys think? I'm torn between the two

They issue glock 17's which have seen better days, I'm going to buy one that I can say is mine and at the end of the day, won't be taken away
