I had been needing new tires for a while now, and finally picked and ordered some. I couldn't find much in the way of reviews for these tires, so I'm being a bit of a guinea pig. They are Maxtrek Mud Trac M/T's, that are 35x12.50R20.
The price was good, and so far, I like the looks of the tires. I hope to have them installed later this week, and will give impressions/thoughts once I've had a chance to put a few miles on them.

How much of a lift do you have on your truck? Think you will have any rubbing issues?

I have a 6" RCX lift, and I do have a little rubbing with the current tires which are also 35x12.50R20's. If you look closely in the pic above, you can see where the tire just barely touches the fender liner. it only touches when the suspension flexes/compresses, and it's just enough to rub off the dust and dirt.

I also get a little rubbing on the front sway bar links when turned to full lock.

However, the old tires are a little wider than advertised, and measure closer to 13.5". The new tires seem to be closer to a true 12.5" wide.
If the new tires still rub, I'll look into getting some spacers to run until I save up for new wheels.

How much did you pay for the wheels?

Graygoose,
will do. They should be installed by the time I get off work tomorrow.

Jgat37, if by "wheels", you mean rims, they came on the truck.:waytogo:
If you mean the tires, they were $844 delivered to my door.

That's a good price for that size tire.

New tires are on. It was only a 5 mile drive to get home, but so far, so good.
I noticed that they were able to use considerably less weight to balance these tires vs what was used on the old ones. I had a short, open stretch, and was able to hit 75mph for just a bit. It was nice and smooth with no vibrations at all.
I was also really surprised by the lack or road noise. These tires are really quiet, especially for a MT. I didn't get a chance to hit any really twisty roads, but they handled the few turns I did make, just fine.
They do seem to run a little smaller than advertised though. Installed height from ground to top of tire was just under 34". (maybe next time I'll step up to 37's?)
while they do seem to clear everything, I'll most likely get some spacers for the short term, and keep my eye out for some different wheels with a little less back space.

ok, ok, here are the pics.

and here's one to show the knuckle clearance(why I need spacers/wheels).

Just a brief update.
While I haven't had a chance to really get off the pavement, I have been on gravel roads a bit, and over the weekend, made a trip to St. Louis and back(about 500 miles round trip).

The tires handle the loose gravel just fine. The only negative is that they do like to grab and throw rocks. The flairs and under coating are holding up fine so far though.

I encountered a bit of rain on the road trip, and even with the minimal siping on the tires, they handled it surprisingly well. Road noise is still minimal, and there doesn't appear to be much(if any) tread wear yet.

Update:

My truck is not my daily driver, so I'm still under 2000 miles on the new tires. I really can't comment on tread wear, other than to say that if there has been any wear, it has been very even.
However, I did get a chance to drive in some heavy, wet snow a few days ago. The only negative was some pulling to the side when I would get out of the tracks on the the road. HOWEVER, I believe this has more to do with wide tires in wet snow, rather than anything specific to the tires themselves.
I also got into a little mud while pulling my trailer up from the back of my property. The tires dug in and grabbed very well. I was able to retrieve the trailer without the use of 4wd. It took very little spinning to get the tires to clean out, which was surprising when considering the clay content of the soil around here.

I'll continue to update as time and miles go by; but so far, I am very pleased with these tires.
