I'm looking for advice on a decent all terrain/ mud terrain tire for my 2011 longhorn. Something that won't make a lot of noise. Also any suggestions on a decent leveling kit would be appreciated. Thanks.

The Toyo M/Ts are extremely quiet for an MT and are a very nice looking tire, they are however quite expensive and heavy. Personally, I'd be going with some adjustable bilsteins, you'll be getting a better ride up front with the ability to adjust them to whatever height you desire. (0" up to 2.8").

Leveled with 35" Toyo M/Ts (for reference):

I have the Nitto Trail Grapplers and I don't notice that much road noise. I do also have exhaust and resonator delete though.

Thanks for the input. Will 35s fit on my truck with only a front leveling kit? I was trying to avoid a full lift.

Check out the new toyo open country r/t's. Those will probably be my next tires and the reviews are decent from what I've read.

I'd also highly recommend Nitto or Toyo.

x2 on the Open Country AT2. I had them on my jeep in 35x12.50r17 and loved them. A slight hum at speed, but nothing droning like an MT. Pretty quite and not noticeable with the radio on set on a low volume.

These are what I'm rockin...comin from a toyo m/t, I'll probably stick with the R/t from here on out. Online pics don't do them justice.

Toyo MT is my favorite. As already said above its a bit expensive but its good looking and one hellova tough tire. One time a jealous dude tried to slash my tires with a knife and failed to penetrate. Also yes theyre very burly and heavy so they might slow u down a bit if fast and feisty is ur main thing.

So the Toyo R/Ts are awesome...better mileage than with my discoverer STTs, and quieter, handled the dirt and mud...awesome.

Revo, you and I have the same wheels... I bought mine with the main goal of having a wheel no one else had on their Ram. I'm putting a set of Cooper STT Pro's on this weekend, I have trail Grapplers now and they have been very good to me and quiet.
