I am in the process of purchasing a 2011 Ram 1500 4.7. My old workhouse 1994 F 250 has 277,000 miles and just needs to be retired.
The Ram has about 1/2 the miles--137,000 or so. Feels almost new--no squeaks, no rattles, no "groinks", and so much quieter. My wife and I can actually talk to each other at speeds over 50 mph.
Changing vehicles is always a bit intimidating to me---you know what you have, and the new vehicle is unknown.
Will be towing a mid-weight travel trailer, so I have a few things to do-I'll post in the Towing/Hauling section about that.
I lurker here the past few days, reading up on towing etc. Now I will begin posting.
