New to the forum and Ram

Hey guys i just picked up a 2016 STL that had the RA1 radio , I just recently upgraded to the RA2 5.0 Uconnect touchscreen . I just ordered and picked up everything to put audio controls on the steering wheel (AKA just bought a new wheel with all the controls on it including the voice and call button ) the question i have is will i need to have a reflash to allow all the new gooides to work ? or should it work no problems ?

Also being new to the game, does anyone have problems with poor audio quality while bluetoothing music ( I have an apple ) but i stream though Spotify. Ive done some research but the latest thing ive seen was from 2014, so i assuming they fixed the problem.

Welcome to the Forum from NE Tennessee .
The wheel is PNP no flash or anything needed , provided the the right side buttons are the same ....if not you can just install your existing wheels right side module in your ( new to you wheel )
you will also need a new mirror with microphones to have full functionality of the hands free system if you don't have that already .

I've heard of folks doing that before , but I haven't heard anyone 100% happy with the mic option that's not on an OEM mirror assy.
Do you have a link or P/N or pictures and a review ?

I haven't had any problems with the mic quality .
This is what I went with
https://www.infotainment.com/collec.../products/custom-uconnect-mini-microphone-kit _ (Alittle $$$ but )Harness and mic it seems to be working fine , I haven't had any complains on sound quality
