New to the site and looking for help please!

My truck 1500 Lone Star came with non LED taillights. After installing new LED aftermarket LED taillights every time I hit the break pedal and it's dark out , I get a dash light saying I have a marker light out. Only thing comes to mind is the aftermarket LED lights warned they would not work with trucks already having factory LED taillights. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome, you may have read the information wrong ? You more than likely need some type of resistor as you went from incandescent to LED
I would contact whomever you bough the tail lights from and see what is needed
