New Towing Goodies

The toy truck brought me some goodies from the intraweb. I've had the air springs for a little while and was looking to regulate them a little better, I tow two drastically different trailers and got sick of constantly deflating and inflating to accommodate the two. So back to searching and found the wireless compressor from Air Lift and it does exactly what I was looking for. Grabbed a Tekonsha P3 brake controller at the same time with the plug and play harness for a nice clean install. And here's some pics as so many love to see

Nice, so I take it that your new truck didn't have a brake controller?

The install was super easy, hardest part was figuring out where to mount it, I ended up mounting it under the truck behind the in floor bins. As far as the brake controller is concerned, I wanted something a little more capable than the factory unit. I didn't have a factory one in my truck but we had them in our fleet vehs, we've been slowly pulling them and replacing with the Teknoshas. The factory one is ok but being I was buying one so I chose the more capable unit. Another great feature is its programmable so as I'm hooking up to my different trailers I can adapt with the push of a button

The pics of the comp are kinda vague but if you look closely at them you can see they are mounted to the inside of the rocker structure, mounted under the rear door
