New Westin HDX grille guard

So I finally got a grille guard. Went with a Westin HDX. Hopefully I will never have to try it out!

I'm liking it more every day. It's one of those things that looks better in person than in pictures. Pictures kind of skew the perspective. At first, I was concerned that the 2 inch tubes would look too big but with it on the truck, I think it's fine and gives a more aggressive appearance. Now I have to remember not to pull too close to things.

How sturdy is it? Stuck between the HDX and the Winch mount one. Winch mount HDX seems like a more solid mount

This is very solid. Both structurally and in how it mounts. It wouldn't have bothered me if the center mounted horizontal tube was somehow a few inches lower. Or maybe another cross piece at the leading edge of the plastic above the bumper; also as a possible mounting place for some future lights. Which I guess a winch mount version could accomplish
I also like that the Ram emblem is at least somewhat visible through the screen.
The only thing I would have done different is use Rebel loop style tow hooks as I think they would work. Shop had to reverse hook style loops to allow room for any possible strap usage.
