So in reading a few threads and trying to decide on some changes I'm wondering if I went from a stock 20" rim to an 18" or 17" to get a taller tire, how does this change the transmission timing, speedometer, etc. Also what size do most run( rim)?

Common rim/tire combos are 33x20 (stock), 35x20, 35x18, and 35x17. I went to an 18" wheel from a 20 while keeping a 33" tall tire and noticed no mpg difference or speedometer change. Next week i will go to a 35" tire while keeping 18s. I will see about mileage/speed. Tuners are out there to adjust speed and trans shift points as well. Others should chime in soon.
