So I recently purchased a new 1500 2wd lone star edition. I already ordered a leveling kit and will install it within a week or so. I was looking to order the 20" kmc rockstar wheels but when I go to pick the wheel I am to choose +10 or +35 offset. Not sure I understand it well enough to know what I should get? I'm looking to put the Kevlar wrangler a/t on there but keep the same size at stock.

Stock 20" X 9" wheels are +19 . . . +35 will never fit, not sure why they would even make them . . . +10's will be fine for stock, or 1 or 2 size upgrade . . . +10 moves the tire out by just under 3/8" . . . In the tire you are looking at, other than being expensive as hell, 285/60R20 would be a nice upgrade for your new setup . . . If you are staying with the stock P275/60R20 size, there are a tone of better/cheaper options than Goodyear unless you get some killer discount . . . When you say leveling kit, you mean a spacer kit ? . . . Most people round here level with Bilsteins . . . Specially with the 14/15 UCA issues . . . It's just a better way to level that won't ruin your ride . . . Just thought I'd throw some options at you . . . Good luck . . . Post pics

Guess I'll go with the +10 then thanks a ton! As far as the lift goes, I got the traxda 604080 leveling kit. It's spacers. I'd love to get the bilstein as that's what I ran on every truck in the past but no one seems to make anything for a 2015. Im not sure what the big difference is between 2015 and 2014.
As far as tires I'll prob go with the 285/60/r20 good years. On my 2008 that I just traded in I had the good years and they lasted me about 80k miles. What kind of problems do the 14/15 have? I haven't seen anything about uca problems yet but then again when I was washing the truck for the first time yesterday I noticed I had fake chrome wheels....

Any level kit much over 2", especially spacer types, and ball joints have been known to start poppin out of place . . . Plenty of threads on it . . . Unless you have air suspension, I know of no reason why you can't use 2014 Bilsteins . . . Don't feel bad about your wheels, plastic chrome clad glued to a casting is pretty common . . . Chargers, Challengers . . . All the same . . . Ford and Chevy do it too . . . I kept mine and just run em in these crappy Ohio winters
