My wheels & tires from Custom Offsets came in today. I love the look of these Moto Metal wheels but for some reason I'm getting some rubbing which is disappointing. They're supposed to be -12 offset which is what I ran on my 1500 which was leveled with a 1.5" body lift and I had no rubbing.

I'm not sure what to do about it. It appears the tires are running the factory flares and I don't really want to start cutting on my brand new truck. I've installed a couple of the Zone Offroad body lift and they're not too bad but I didn't want to put one on this truck.

Is it rubbing while moving straight or while turning? Or when you turn into a driveway with a slight incline?

Where are they rubbing?

You may just need a small spacer.

It’s rubbing when I turn, seems to be worse when I’m backing up.

1500s require a different offset than hd Rams. Should have went with something around +18, or get smaller tires

Yeah man 2500 offset is a different animal. I just ordered wheels for my new power wagon and the sweet spot seems to be +18mm to +27mm. I went with +18mm XDs. Where does it seem to be rubbing? A common spot is into the rear pinch weld of the front wheel well. The screen shot is from a YouTube video of a guy trying to fit 37" on stock suspension with -12 wheels. But I have heard of guys still having issues with negative offsets wheels even with a level. Does look good though!
Here's a shot of mine stock power wagon suspension on 35" Nittos with a +18 offset wheel. No rubbing anywhere

This is of no help but SO jealous! Those were the wheels I wanted but missed the Black Friday special on them

What size are your tires though? Maybe that's the issue

Yea maybe your tires are too wide. Just got my 305s in, haven't mounted them yet but a little nervous they'll rub

Hate to link another forum but over on PW registry there are quite of few threads on -12 offset wheels and it being hard into the pinch weld on stock and leveled PWs. I'm pretty sure a stock power wagon is already higher from the factory than a normal HD. Depending on how bad the rub is you may be able to just heat up and push some plastic in a little or possibly have to trim it and the pinch weld which seems to be the common spot for rubbing issues.

I trimmed the little lip off of the factory flares today and shortened up the liner a bit as well. Things are much improved but I still get a little rubbing when I'm almost at full lock either way. What I can't figure out though is why it rubs worse going in reverse than it does driving forward. Anyone know why that would be?

Good read, hoping my 0 offsets don't rub
By the way, they don’t rub. A quick update but long overdue. I measured the tires and they are right at 34 inches on the dot after a couple thousand miles. I don’t think I already would have lost half an inch of tread so maybe the size listing was a little off
