Newb from Houston

I am a current Dakota owner and am looking to purchase a new Ram in the coming months. I found this website for research and tips on purchasing etc. I would like to buy off the lot but seeing as I want a 4X4 CC with the 6.5' bed I may have to order. The closest vehicle I can find like I want is in Colorado Springs!

Below is a picture of my current ride. It is set up for road course racing and auotcrossing. It has a full Hotchkis suspension (Bilstein shocks) and front and rear Viper brakes. The wheels are 19" Fikse's, also off of a Viper. The main fun addition aside from the cams and PCM tune is the T56 transmission that replaced the factory 5 speed. Rear end has 4.10's and a TrueTrac LSD. It handles amazingly well and moves pretty good for a small V8. I have a turbo that will eventually go on but not any time soon unfortunately.

I am sure there is plenty of racing on your side of town as well. That R/T will scoot. I used to race with the Dakota R/T guys but had a disadvantage with the manual, too much wheel hop with the stiff leaf springs I have on the Kota. There used to be a time when I was at HRP in Baytown every Friday. Poor clutch and tires!
