Hello all new guy here from MI.. just picked myself up a 2008 ram mega cab with a hemi.. they call it a 1500 but really its a 2500.. i honestly dont know what makes it a 1500.. doesnt matter.. Ive been looking for a white mega cab for a min and stumbled across this beast.. its not perfect , but since it isnt my daily ill have a chance to make er better without having to rush.. look forward to learning some new stuff while im here..

Only thing that is different between 1500 & 2500 is one Leaf Spring. Which of course changes the payload.

Welcome to the forum. Nice truck. Like mikeg71 said, the difference is the one spring and there is also a 290# difference in gvw with less payload. But everything else is the exact same. When ordering parts, you have to say 2500 or you’ll get the 1500 parts in most cases.
