Hey all, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself a bit as I plan to be here awhile! I just bought a 2005 regular cab silver 4wd Daytona with 22 inch SRT wheels wrapped in some brand new beautiful good year tires. It also came with the stock wheels which are mint! New to the truck game, not to the modifying game. I’ve modded cars from top to bottom though and done a ton of custom work, maybe get into that later. I have had a couple trucks before but never really modded them minus exhaust and intakes etc. Anyways, I bought a 2005 Dodge Daytona #518. 61k miles on her, she’s in great mechanical shape, but suffers from the NY cancer rust on the bed and rear bumper. The frame and what not is solid though. I just removed a ton of surface rust and made her look ten times better! I am super excited and not even sure where I want to start with the mods. Debating lowering it a bit, def going to get a tuner, fix the exhaust to my liking, I wish the previous owner didn’t cut off the Borla! Probably will custom make a nice CAI, has a short Ram on it that’s garbage. I stole this baby for 4K. It does need some body work, I’m also going to start with new plugs, tune her up and clean her up. Let me know what you think, will try to post pictures!
