Hey all,
Bought my FIRST Ram truck last week (2015 ram 1500 ST), and am looking for some input on where/what to start playing with. All I've done so far is add on side steps (since the wife is 5' tall).

Also, what kind of box liners are you guys using?

Congrats on the new RAM!!!

Side steps were the first thing added to our truck, too. My wife is about the same size as yours. :D The next few things I added were: Koomus K2 dash phone mount, bayou goat mount for GPS, and the DeeZee tailgate assist. (all great products and cheap & easy mods) I also switch out the interior lights to LED's.

Here is the list of mods I have planned (in no particular order):

S&B Cold Air Intake.
Magnaflow 18" muffler.
Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks for front.
Nitto tires (34" or 35")
Clazzio leather seat covers.
Switch Cargo, Reverse, & tag lights to LED.
Kicker speaker upgrades (eventually).
Gatorhyde spray in bedliner
Window tint

Cool, thanks for the input. Did you find the tailgate assist was worth the install?

Congrats on the truck. Side steps were also my first mod for the same reason as EagleChief's. :D

I will not ever use a slip in liner again. What a mess and the damage it does to the bed is just not acceptable. I will do a spray in liner on the new truck, same as I did with the MegaCab.

So what are your goals for your truck? Appearance mods? Performance mods? Audio? What do you hope to achieve with it?

Thanks :)
Yeah, I was thinking about going with a spray in. Heard a lot of bad things about slip in liners.
As for what I hope to achieve; first step is the basics (liner, steps, etc), then I'd like to start to appearance, audio, performance in that order.

Cool.

I'm investigating liners now and all I've really been able to determine is that the hotter the material is when it's sprayed on, and the experience of the person doing the application, really determines a good or bad job.

The materials used by the big 3 companies you see out there are pretty much the same.

For me, my mods will probably come in this order:

Tint
Bed liner
Exhaust
HID conversion - Oh JJ...what ya got? ;)
Programmer
Intake - If I can find one for the 6.4L
Audio - If the Alpine system distresses me and I decide to gut the interior. :)
A few billet pieces here and there.

I'd like to do 6.4L SRT LX (Challenger, Charger, 300) exhaust manifolds (they are basically a shorty header) and if I can figure out how to do it, I'll add those at the time I do the exhaust.

That would be a sick truck when it's complete! I'm not entirely sure what all I'm looking to do yet, but here's the basics:
Side steps - Done :)
Bed Liner -
Tint -
Change out headlights/tail lights -
Debadge -
Touch screen deck -
Also been recommended to put in a catch (for the hemi)

Not sure where I'm going after that...
Okay, might also look at cold air intake, throttle body spacer, exhaust system...

Yes it's fantastic! Takes 15 mins to install and is worth every penny. I'll never have another truck without it! It's so nice to be able to open the tailgate with your hands full and not have it slam down!

Yea, I'd recommend the tailgate assist for sure! Actually going to get one for my parents truck. It's easy to install and it makes it a ton easier for the wife to open the tailgate if she needs to.

The wife is going to cost me a lot in mods! Haha!
Side steps, tail gate assists, I can only imagine what's next ;)
