Hey, while it might be more work than what you want to do. Have you considered Exhaust Wraping? I think it looks bad ass and extremely functional.

Agree 100%
Wrapped long tube headers look great.
I've had ceramic coated and white powder coated over the years. They both ultimately get oil/grease smudges and burn stains that are permanent.
Wrapped = Bad Ass!

Edit...*****! Just saw your occupation.

its a rough job but someone has to do it! had a job the other day that bought my subs! header wrap shouldn't take me anymore than an hour or 2 if im drinking and "working" at the same time. I think ill go that route and its WAY cheaper plus ill have it right away... one place I called quoted me a 3 week turn around time.

Just get a good quality wrap. That cheap crap will turn brittle and fall off. Oh and seal it with the high temp silicone paint.

I am not very knowledgeable about headers, but it seems like I read somewhere that wrapping them was bad? I may eventually put some on my 6.4 but would like to learn more before I pull the trigger.

Time to go to work......LoL
ARH definitely 308......some are 409 stainless which will rust but not that quickly..... also that is what the factory exhaust is 409..........then there are the steel tubes that don't last long at all.

I’ve used these guys a few times. They use tech line ceramic brand, also does powder coating etc. small shop but decent work. Last set of long tubes cost me $280. Now I just blast my own with creakote.
