Now at a little over 5000 miles.
Problems starting to appear.
Passenger door speaker sound blown (very garbled).
While washing the truck, I noticed the rear bumper felt loose (east to move up and down).
Checked underneath, found the lower passenger side nut at the end of the threads (two hand turns and it came off).
The upper was very loose.
Driver side lower nut was very loose, upper was tight. WTF!
I no longer have any confidence in the quality of this vehicle.

Dealer replaced passenger door speaker and inspected the rear bumper to make sure the bolts I tightened were still good.
We shall see how it goes.

Not someone trying to steal the bumper ? I mean I get the speaker. My truck had 1 speaker that the wires were backwards on when it was new. That was 04. But the bumper , maybe someone was trying to get the tailgate , or bumper. I’ve seen a wrecker Steal a truck , that was found 2 weeks later with the front clip gone & nothing else. (When asked the driver said it was a repo.it was paid off.). I also saw 10 trucks on the front line at a dealer that they all the spare tires were stolen from. Just a thought.

That is a good point. The thought did cross my mind. I checked the driveway camera's but did not see anything. But you never know.

Was someone interrupted trying to steal the bumper? It happens. Bumpers and tailgates.

Possible. I had the same thought.

Never met a service advisor that did three things

1. Listened to the customer
2. Gave an honest answer
3. Did exactly what they said they would do.

It's more important to me for them to be upfront and straightforward about what can and cannot be accomplished. Vs lie and blame someone else.

I may not be the normal customer here. However that is why I deal with companies like Mark Dodge.

Never used them for service but I got my 3 items above from them on both my purchases.

It almost sounds as if the bumper got damaged and the dealership replaced it before selling the truck. And the tech didn't check their work.
