So I am not getting heat on driver side, upper or lower... but I have heat on the passenger side. It isn't warm... it is cold.

I found a video below on the left temp blend control actuator, but I pulled the glove box and I see it moving as I crank the temp down and up... it is moving find.

curious what else should I check?

found this... hoping it isn't it: (HVAC distribution housing needs replacing!!! $2000 fix!! OUCH!!!)

Make sure your coolant is topped up and there is no air in the system try to burp it. I don't see many blend door failures on 4th gens like the older rams. After that I would flush the heater core a few times and see what happens.

I would watch that actuator again but this time, move the controls from defrost to vent to floor and see if it moves correctly.

Make sure you're looking at the correct actuator ...for L side heat. Maybe swap actuators just to see. While you have the actuator off, rotate the shaft with your fingers and make sure it's closing off (not broken inside).

The next step would be to control each actuator with a scan tool, like a dealer scan tool, or a Snap-on scanner. AlfaOBD might work, I haven't used it (Check out the 4th Gen DIY forum for more on AlfaOBD). Then you can (hopefully) narrow the problem down perhaps to the controller, actuator or blend door issue. There is also Jscan software which you use on your phone or tablet. I don't know the capabilities of this software in terms of HVAC on Rams, maybe others can chime in.

I checked the lines going into the heater core those were 180 (based on infra red temp) or so degrees... I did rev up the engine up and noticed the air did change on the driver side maybe a little, to be a little warm. thoughts on that new data point?

I also did more testing this past weekend... if I get the RPM's to above 3,000 RPM, I feel like the driver side changed to warm a little, wasn't as cold. not Hot but I do feel like it changed. I also confirmed this weekend I do not have an in cabin filter, seems like most RAMS do not have them, you have to purchase a kit to do afterwards it seems... does this mean without a filter my heater core could get clogged easier?

Going through this right now. Currently getting the heater core replaced as it started leaking shortly after losing heat on drivers side.
