I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi that I just rebuilt. I added a Lunati cam but everything else is stock. The ECM was reprogrammed to work with the cam and everything has been running great until a few days ago. The truck will not idle when it's cold, it will start strong then die right out. When the motor is up to operating temp it idles almost perfectly but will still shut off during a hard brake or turning the wheels while stopped. The throttle body looks spotless still and I changed the Intake Temperature sensor just because it was $15 still no change. No check engine light is on either. Please Help.

I tried spraying throttle body cleaner all around the top of the motor while it was idling and got no surge in rpms but I haven't checked the egr valve nor the coolant temperature sensor yet. Will try both and let you know. Thank you both.

It's a tuning issue. Send a datalog to your tuner of your idle and he should beable to make adjustments. The bigger cams can temperature sensitive.
