No power wagon 2020?

So after the issues I’m having with my 2017 I would like to upgrade to a 2020 PW. Got a quote for trading in my 2017, $33,500 unseen. I think thats about 5k lower than i would sell it privately but thats not the point. Point is, if I'm going to sell my 17 i’m going to get everything i want in the new one.

So i’d like to order a 2020 when the time is right. Dealership in pa says they aren't being made for 2020. Dealership in nj says i can order one in first Q 2020.

Anyone have the real scoop on when i can order one??

Pretty sure that article is just a remnant of the mistake phase, when everybody was reporting 2019 Power Wagons as 2020's (confusion about new cab, etc..). Those pictures sure look like they're a 2019 to me, and that article is from Dec 2018.

Maybe, but Dec.18 means the '19's had been available for a few months.

If there aren't going to be 2020 PWs i will get the 19 but i find it hard to believe. Especially after all the work they did on the 19s. I want the 5th gen cab. That’s really why i’m waiting. If that isn't going to happen though i will get a 19

Theres no way there isnt gonna be a 2020 wagon. I have no leads or inside info to back it up, but theres just no way.

The 19’s didn't come out in 18. They came out in 19’ like March I think. So I wouldn’t even expect a 2020 yet

That’s would seem right. That’s right after a year of the 2019 release.

I ordered my 2019 PW March 1st 2019, still waiting on delivery. First build date was April 29th then July 28th..... still not built according to my dealer.

They batch these things, and build a whole bunch at once. Then none for a long time. If you're lucky you get one right away, otherwise ... waiting.

There was like (2) 2019s available in Texas back in July and I bought 1 of them. My sales man last month did not think they would come out till 3 months after the 2500 hit the lot this fall. And maybe as late as March again like when we saw the 2019s in Texas hit the lot.
I couldn’t wait. Any longer. The 19 had big enough changes over the 18, that I could not see anything big going to happen again for a year or 2. If you can find a 19 you can get 6k off the sticker. At least down south.

Wrong. The 2019 2500’s didn’t come out until about April/May, a full year after the 2019 1500’s (which was super confusing). Since it was a full Calle dad year after the 1500 debuted, people suspected the new body style would come out as a 2020 and not a 2019, especially since, historically, the heavy duty refresh follows the 1500’s by a model year (google 2009 1500 and 2500 and see what I mean).

However, I can’t even order them yet, so something pushed production back. I would imagine they’ll start up production in 60-90 days from now, with orders opening up 30-60 days from now. Just a speculation based on old data and historic norms.

Thank you. Do we have confirmation that the PW will still be in production? I cant imagine they would stop making them. Im going to order one for sure if i am able to in the next 30-60 days
