No XM anymore

I had to replace my radio in my 2014 Ram 1500 and it worked for 6 or 7 months. Now, I still can get am and fm but when I switch to XM all I get is sound that cuts in and out very fast. Has any had this problem or knows what would cause it?

Did you check the radio antenna for loose fitting. Wire could have partially unseated from plug, or shield could be broken around wire. Try pulling radio out to reach connector and see if holding it in different positions causes XM to come in. If yes, it is the antenna wire. If no change, possibly bad replacement radio. Could disconnect all wires, disconnect battery, then try a couple on/run/off cycles to see if it resets.

MY new 2023 Ram 1500 Limited had same problem,no XM radio but am/fm worked, took them one month and a half to fix --the antenna on the roof was bad .
