Noises from the Engine

I have a 2001 ram truck 5.2....

Over the weekend I changed the oil and now hearing some kind of rattling from it.....?

Would it be the recommended oil is to thin or should i go with a thicker oil....??

I used to get it in my old Ford. Like a ticking noise when getting on the gas a bit. I started filling 91 and usong fuel adatives and it went away

my current tick is from the belt (the power steering area to be specific), however if ts not coming from your belt, maybe use a thicker gauge oil like you said. especially if the miles are up there. i run a 10w40 162k miles on a 5.9
