I'm trying to find a 'programmer' (lack of better term) for my 2019 2500 6.4L but I'm not looking modify performance, instead I'm looking for something to tweak settings. Diablo and Pedal Commander are great tools but they have a pretty narrow focus. For our Wrangler we are ordering the Tazer Mini which allows you to change many settings. Most specifically I'm looking to:

-Activate backup camera with turn signal
-Disable TC and have it stay off
-Keep tow haul mode setting between starts
-Lower mirrors when backing up
-Fold mirrors in automatically when turning truck off
-Modify TPMS settings

The list could go on but those are the ones I'd be most interested in. Is there anything like this out there? Thanks!

I would suggest alfaobd but as far as I know none of those are actual functions on the trucks that can be programmed

The tazer can do pretty much everything you listed apart from tilt down the mirror when reversing. Because you wont have the hardware for it

I'm pretty sure if there is a 'button' that does it than it can be programmed but if there isn't much demand for it no one will develop it :(

Well Alfaobd can do tpms settings and if you buy the door module for mirror tilt down then that can be enabled. But the camera on turn signal I’m not sure. The traction control can be disabled but need a tuner. And tow haul is just a button so it’s easy to click on when needed.

I just found a video on Alphaodb, it's a good start but he seems so one has gone as far as the Tazer has with the Wrangler programming. I haul 1k counter weight and often a 1k plow from late Nov to mid-April, that's a a lot of tow / haul presses, I'm going to wear out the switch  Oh well, it was worth a shot.

If you get a custom tune depending on the setup they can program the transmission shift pattern for towing. You would just upload the tow tune when needed

Why would anyone need to have their mirrors autofold every time they lock the vehicle? :emotions34: (see the autofold mirror thread for that saga - I would like that option too).

For the mirror tilt in reverse, I could never get that feature to work on another truck of mine that was supposed to have that capability, so I had memory 1 programmed for seat and mirror position for my everyday driving and memory 2 just had the mirrors tilted down.

OP - just wondering if you have ever tried those auto-tilt mirrors. I had them on my last BMW and did not like them.

No, but occasionally I have to tilt my passenger side mirror down when back up along side a low obstacle (like my wife's flower bed).

You can add the tilt in reverse feature with the Alfa tool. It's a standard feature on the Laramie trim level trucks because they come with memory. Unfortunately there is no setting to just have one mirror tilt and not the other. Your original door modules should support the tilt in reverse option but you would need to upgrade to memory capable mirrors. Just a quick note because it was mentioned earlier the only differences in the door modules is one supports the power fold option and the other doesn't. They all support memory, tilt in reverse, blinker lights, puddle lights, tow mirror, heat ect. The only difference is the power fold. I enabled the tilt in reverse and I didn't care for it tilting every time I put the truck in reverse so I ended up not using it. I have since added full memory to the truck and I just tilt down one mirror or the other if I need to and the truck automatically adjust it back as soon as I get back in the truck or press the memory button.
