use the search function and you'll find this topic covered multiple times. But you'll need the door modules with the power fold function in them, then you'll have to have your dealer add the powerfold sales code and reflash your computer.

Not to thread jack, but can you use the powered mirrors in the same manner as the manual mirrors without the power fold module?

Will the powered mirrors fold manually or will there be issues and possibly breaking the power fold motor?

Mine will fold manually, BUT, you need to unfold them manually afterwards to re-engage the mechanism.

What I also meant to say is, if some cheap ******* (like me) bought a set of powered mirrors and didn’t buy the power module one could just fold and unfold the power mirrors just like the lower tier non-power mirrors?

Yes, you can still manually fold/unfold them.

Here's the modules & CC switch that work for a 13/14 truck (maybe more) that I used on my previous 13 Ram as a reference for you.
Note: Dealer will likely be unable to activate the power fold option for you (trim level determines if it shows in their system) but you never know. If so you will need to an OBDgenie to activate it.

Cool thanks.

I really like the puddle/courtesy lights and supplemental signals in the upper tier mirrors. Powerfold (motor) isn’t really a big deal as it’s something that can and may break and need to be replaced.

@Mpgrimm2 and all...
Well I finally found some power fold mirrors for a decent price. They aren't "full" memory, but have everything else including Auto Dim feature. Came off a 2017 Rebel. Will roll with these, if I ever come across a full memory set for a decent price I'll just upgrade later. Now just need to order the modules and switch.

Haven't found anything newer part no wise for the switch and modules for a 2016 than shown above, so going to run with those.

Just double check that switch PN with forum vendor allmoparParts.com (Benny) to make sure it works for your truck. They changed the connector style at some point (1 connector vs 2) and I'm not sure what year that occurred.

M² Mods.

Hmm this is a good point, pretty much all the listings have been showing that part number with 2 connectors good up through 2016, but my 2016 has the single connector plug, not 2. More research required :(.

Yeah I had to get '13 or up due to temp sensor, but at least the ones I got are like new :). He swapped to tow mirrors right away apparently.

I think, it might be this one... single harness connection, 2017 and up it appears. Maybe I just have a late 2016 build. I've pm'd Benny to confirm though.

Forgot to update, Benny says that switch is good to go, so I just must have a late 2016. Anyway, Chrome Power Folds are sitting on my workbench, switch and modules arrive tomorrow, so should have this all wrapped up by tomorrow evening hopefully :).

Mine don't arrive until Tuesday. But I still have to order my modules and switch. :(
