Well, I got bored so I decided to show off some pictures of my trucks. I have videos on YouTube, just search my username and a few will pop up. Anyways, some whoreage of the Ranger and Dakota. Enjoy!

Nope, it's a 1997 with the 318. 4.7s didn't get introduced until 2001 in the Dakota lines.


And this is the Ranger I've been trying to sell for the longest time and keep getting screwed on... If anyone on here would be interested, PM me. I'd prefer somewhere close to me, but give me a shout on it. Asking $5000

It's a good little truck. I rebuilt the entire drivetrain pretty much... **** kept breaking because the previous owner beat the **** out of it and didn't care. I got it pretty rough, body lift on it already, and I.did everything else. Bedliner, tires, lights, everything. I love the truck but it's too small for me now. It was a great first truck but I want something bigger.

Yeah I knew the 4.7's came in 01, pops had an 02 QCSB Dak with a 4.7. Forgot they offered the 318 in them before that.

Mustangs didn't have 4.0s, they had the 3.7 I believe. Same block and all, just a different bore and compression ratio

Depends on the year. The 2006 and up have the 4.0 the 1999 to 2005 have a 3.8

94-04 had the essex 3.8(ford in 04 said it was a 3.9), 05-10 had the cologne 4.0 like your ranger, 11+ have the 3.7

Well that explains the 3.9 adds I see. I'm like no it's a freaking 3.8 lol

But yea the 4.0 in the stang and the ranger and explorer are the same.

The 3.8 is also the same on in the ford windstar vans. You can do the intake swap and pick up a few ponies.
