Notch In coolant reservoir fill neck

Would someone mind opening their coolant reservoir and seeing if this little notch is normal? It does not look like it was put there by way of manufacturing process. Need to know if it’s normal of if I need to get it replaced.

It’s supposed to be there. It’s the passage way for the overflow.
