I was told there are two kinds of o2 sensors. One that is midstream and a downstream one?

My question is should mine be replaced with an o2 Simulator on my 95 Ram 1500 or not if I take the cat off. I don't care about the check engine light but I don't want too much or not enough fuel getting added to the mixture if I redo my exhaust without a Cat..

I'm sure mine's only got one lol. Never did much work on exhausts.

The o2 sensor before the cat reads afr. The downstream o2 makes sure the cat works/is there. As long as you leave the front o2 you will be fine.

95 only has 1 apparently, looks like it goes directly into the cat?
