Heres where they go. There are two different types, the round one and the rectangular one.

You got to be kidding me. I have been chasing the dash around glove box, even stuffed small insulation between the dash and the windshield thinking it was that... and I just need tape on the hood?

Unreal. Will check this tonight. Thanks for the photos guys.

Well, well, i have also a rattle coing from the driver side wheelwell.
The sound is like either a loose frame-Cabin bolt or a bolt inside a round/square tube hitting the wall of the tube.
It happens when the road is not perfectly flat (frequent here) or when i hit a pot hole (very frequent here)
I had the truck at the dealership and they fixed it but the office guy said it was a loose frame-cabin bolt, but it sounded as a excuse for not knowing.
However, after some months it came back, more and more and then it disappeared for some days (and that worries me even more), ut now it's back.

Fortunately i found this tread and will follow the directions to check for the film thingy, it would be too nice if it's such a simple fix.

Squeak on driver side front up near the dash odometer instrument panel. I drove for about a month drove me nuts come and go can't look under the dash while you're driving hard to find it located so I finally opened up the hood and found my squeak is coming from the plastic trim just below the windshield wipers and just underneath the Hood by the front driver windshield and the trim is loose inside the engine compartment and the plastic then rubs and creates a kind of a high-pitched squeak as you drive on not so smooth roads
