Anyone. reason I ask is I am wondering if I resize my wheels on my computer, will the odometer be adjusted with it. And if I put the wrong size in, will the odometer end up being short/long on how many miles it has actually gone.

Changing wheels and tires will screw up the Speedo, which feeds the odo, if the overall OD changes.
I had to but a tuner to calibrate mine when I went to 305/50/20's.

So answer to your question is yes. Adjust the Speedo and the odor will follow..lol

Sent while I was supposed to be working...

Same place as the speedo, right off the ring gear. So YES, changes to tire diameter will effect the odometer the same as it will the speedometer.

I have 35s now but have used my tuner to recalibrate. On my 2nd Gen by contrast, I ran 35s but never did recalibrate the speedo, I knew from GPS how fast I was really going in comparison to the speedo and gauged my driving accordingly. I knew I'd always at least be close enough by guestimate not to get a speeding ticket. I suspect that when I traded it in with 68k on the clock, whoever bought it from the dealer was actually getting a truck with 70k+ miles on it, LOL...

I have 33 inch 20's I run in the summer and 31.5 inch 17's for the winter. The speedometer and odometer is off about 5% with the larger tire. I learned to live with it, just remember the speedometer is slow if you like the press your luck on the highway. I have heard that the dealer charges anywhere fom $40-100 for the reprogram. At that price, buy a used tuner and get the extra benefits and fun :happy107:for a few more pennies.
