2015 SSV has been written off. I'll be using the winter tires on the 2020 ST (classic) that is replacing it.
Currently have my year old winter tires on the factory 17" steel wheels that came with it.
On the truck I have a set of factory 17" aluminum rims that were take offs from a 2017.
Debating if it's worth the money to have them swapped (2 mount demount, 1 balance).
Steel
Pros - look okay, cheap to replace, can repair if bent
Cons - Have some rust forming that needs to be cleaned up, sensors closer to end of life.
Aluminum
Pros - higher cargo rating, newer, better balance
Cons - cost to swap/balance, no repair if damaged(hard to curb 17"s, but it could happen), higher to replace if damaged
