oem fog lights

Hi guys,
quick question

My 98 dodge 1500 SLT didn't come with factory fog lamps which I find weird on a slt, but anyway

Im looking for oem replacement lights with brackets (I need everything since it didn't come with any)


Do you guys know a good place to find oem bulbs and brackets for a good price

A quick google search found me some upgraded L.e.d. lights which I like a lot....but at 130 dollars...its a little much


what do you guys know that can help me out?

I have gotten two replacement housings and they come with brackets, cost me $67 each. Head to a auto wrecker and see what you can find. Rockauto? or the sponsor here on RF Tony I think A1.

Ok guys i need some help. My brother has a 99 dodge ram that did not come with factory fog lights when he bought the truck. The truck came with small square ones mounted in the factory location. He purchased some led fog lights to replace the ones there already. I know I'm going to need the plastic housings that surround the fog lights and a different head light switch also. My question is is there a harness that I need to grab from the junk yard to install these? Also from what I read above, converting a truck without factory fog lights to one with them can be done.

If the truck is a Slt or up it should be pre wired. All you have to do is tap into the wiring already there and buy a new switch. If the harness is not there, junkyards would be your friend. Look for sports as they all came factory with fogs. You could probably pick up the switch too.
