OEM LED REFLECTOR HEADLAMPS?

Recently purchased a 2019 used ram 2500 with 9k miles, great truck but the original window sticker call for led reflector headlamps and fog lights. The fog lights are clearly led but the headlamps are halogen bulbs. Dealer is telling me and said he was told by the factory that the only part of the headlight that is led is the the marker light. I say bull crap! It sat led reflector headlamps....not marker light. Can anyone confirm what the led reflector headlamp looks like?
Everything appears to be factory when looking under the hood so I'm really stumped as to what to believe. Customer care says it should have led lpx reflector headlamps and to take it up with the dealer....um yeah i tried that.

What trim level is the truck? The reflector led headlights came standard on Laramie trims, and were an option on big horns

If it's the first picture, those are the non led halogen lights, the bottom picture has the led equipped headlights. Not sure on the exact wordage on the build sheet or window sticker, but I would refer to the build sheet over the window sticker for accuracy (it's been noted that occasionally window stickers contain incorrect information).

Wait a minute; you said you had a 2019 three-quarter ton… do your headlights look like the top picture or the bottom picture?

Egh, after I posted that I realized that it probably don’t matter whether it’s a half-ton or 3/4-ton because either way, you should be able to tell just by looking at the front of your pickup to see if you got the premium or non-premium lights.

Yeah I agree, although I guess if you aren't familiar or as much of an enthusiast it could be confusing. I'm wondering now what the OP has though, maybe he will post a picture.

I know what the LED looked like but i was being told a lie by the dealer and they got called out on it. Long story short i ended up getting Ram customer service involved and in fact the build sheet and vin # confirmed it was built with LED's.....no idea why they would be replaced with halogens but it happened, and it was never in an accident.....dealer will be installing the correct LED lights!!

Although I can’t imagine why the dealer would take those LED’s out and stuff the cheaper lights in there but is it not possible that just because your truck was supposed to be built with the fancier lights, that somebody on the factory line screwed up and put the other ones in? That’s good that they’re making it right, tho.

I guess anything is possible! It is the only explanation i can come up with as well.
I had to fight to get them to do the right thing but i was told it would be done in a day or 2.

But then again, who knows. Dealers have always been known to do some pretty questionable **** so I wouldn’t be surprised if they robbed yours before you even bought it to fix somebody else’s truck with full intention to put another set of the right ones back in your truck before it was sold, probably because they didn’t have any in stock and didn’t want to make the customer wait, and then either just forgot about it, or just flat out didn’t think any potential buyer of that truck would notice.

That's the first time I've heard of that happening, and I don't put it past either being a factory mistake or shady dealer doing shady things. Glad you are getting it fixed, sucks you had to fight them to have it fixed but I'm sure once you have the correct ones in it will be worth it.

You bought a used truck, I highly doubt the dealer did anything but the previous owner could have swapped them before trading?

Either way, LED headlights on a big horn are not standard and would be an additional package and should show up if you get the build sheet using your VIN.
