i have a 2019 classic with the 3.6l. i will be doing my first oil change in a few week (as soon as all this snow will melt) and i was looking at my owners manual for the oil grade, in the book it's written to use 0w20 but the oil cap on the engine is 5w20. i know it's not a big difference but what you guy's are you using

In Canada I can't be sure but your dilemma sounds like one I faced. The book said 0w-20 but the engine oil cap said 5w-20. I went with 5w-20 and all is well. What I have determined is that the 2019 Classics have the engine and maybe more that conform to the 2018 models, but some aspects are 2019. My V6 is a flex-fuel engine non-e-torque and I don't think that was available in the 2019 non-Classics. They are made in different factories and have different specs, bottom line.
I wouldn't be surprised to hear that in Canadian winters 0w-20 works better. In Alaska we had Summer oil and Winter oil.
Also: I downloaded the 700 page owners manual, free online, for both types and use my best guess as to what fits where. :banghead: Regardless, I LOVE my truck.

I run 0w20 in the winter and 5w20 in the summer in my 3.6

it's true that winter can be hard here. that's why a always use synthetic oil. before my ram i was driving a wrangler with teh 3.6l that was using 5w20. i never got a problem with synthetic 5w20. of course 0w20 is synthetic anyway so that won't be a problem. i will ask my dealer and see from there
