You are missing a chance to use critical muscles in your body. I hope you get exercise in other ways!I'm 59, I pay a Mobil detail guy to come over to my house and detail my automobiles.
Try $950 to $1200 based on which ceramic coat you use. $150 will get your out of shape **** a wash. Also, you think missing out on the exercise is "not having a life". Not to mention enjoying doing it with my young sons. Geez. Think before you speak Hoss.LOL pay 150.00 to a good detailer and get a life... whats 2 days of your life worth to ya?
I did spend two days on my Ram. BUT, once ceramic coating is applied - washes are quick and simple. And I won't worry about it for 5 years.Since I found Turtle Wax Seal & Shine and their spray ceramic coating it's all I use. Results are pretty good and quick. At this point, I'd rather do other things than detail vehicles for hours.
Definitely the less you touch the paint, the better to prevent scratches etcBuy white vehicles and you don't have to wash, polish and wax hardly at all. White does not show dirt as do other colors. I'm also a fan or touch-less wash. Instead of using a cloth to dry the vehicle I use my Stihl blower to blow off the droplets. The more times you use towels, microfiber or other to dry the vehicle, the more scratches you will cause.
I'm 65 and I run mine through the carwash a couple times a year whether it needs it or not!Just wondering about all the older fellas like myself. I'm almost 52 and I love to keep my Ram looking sharp. I have found as time goes on I am not inclined to do the full wash, claybar, re-wash, dry, polish and then wax in one day. I tend to do the wash, clay bar and re-wash one day. Then put her in the garage and do the polish, buff, wax and buff the next. Anyone with me on this????
It’s kind of like a bikini wax, lol……. Super smoothDang 70 posts on this thread,
I take mine through the brush type car wash when I get a chance.
