I have read every thread I can find on Tires. I am not happy with the OEM tires and a little worried about how they will do in the snow. I am extremely unKnowledgable about tires, explain the A/T vs. M/T designations. I drive 99.9% street/highway, but have to deal with a lot of snow. What would be best tire for that mix?

m/t=mud terrain. a/t=all terrain. i do a lot of highway driving with my truck but still hit the trails from time to time. as well as see a lot of snow. an a/t tire best suited my needs. my replacement of the stock goodyears was the absolute best addition to my truck yet.

I would go with an all terrain for your driving conditions. Mine are the same, and I upgraded my tires from the stock Goodyear hp's to some Nitto A/T's and have been very happy with them in all weather conditions.

when the crapyears are new and have a decent amount of tread left they are not bad in the snow at all....of course that is meaning you actually use 4 wheel drive. I hate it when i see people with 4x4 refusing to put it in 4 hi and spinning and swerving all over the place trying to get up a incline.....like they are saving any gas that way...LOL

I've seen that too, with the SUV Mom's. I plan to use the Auto 4wd ALOT! I hope these tires do well, we'll see!
