So, I sent in my deposit on Wednesday to Dennis Dillon and received my VIN today. I guess it is official and no turning back, for the most part, at this point. I think I made a good choice for what this truck will be used for.

Here are the specs:

2015 Ram Mega Cab Laramie 4x4
6.4 Hemi
Granite Chrystal Monotone
I connect 8.4 w/Nav
Leather Bucket Seats w/floor consel - Black
Clearance Lamps
Aux Switche Panel
Keyless Go
Remote Start
4.10
Limited Slip
Snow Plow Prep Group (220 Amp Alt)
Single Disc CD
Convenience Group
Protection Group
Power Fold Chrome Trailer Mirrors
Spray Bed Liner
Wheel to wheel sidesteps

I will have the dealer install the bed liner and side steps as they told me the delivery may be quicker than if the factory had them installed.

With the great pricing and everything said and done, my roughy numbers look like I will have an OTD price of less than $50K. That's TTL, everything. I think I got a pretty good truck on order for this price. I'll update this thread as I get more info and if there are any "speed bumps" along the way. Once I get her I will post pics because I'm sure none of you have ever seen a stock Laramie Mega Cab before.:).

Things that I want to do within first year are larger, more aggressive AT tires, possible level on front. Will have a Cap or fiberglass tonneau on by summer. Btw, I have thoroughly confused myself on what tire sizes will fit these trucks without lots of rubbing from reading all the these threads on here. I know my trucks, tires and lifts but that is with First Gen Chevy K5 Blazers and trucks. New Model 4x4s have my head all twisted up.

Thanks for reading.

Yeah, no dealers within 60 miles would/could get within $3K of what I'm paying. It will cost me $6-$700 to fly and drive.

So, just an update. Spoke to my contact at DD today. Told me my truck is built and sitting in Illinois. Should get in another train to a place calle Rocky, UT and then on a truck to Caldwell, ID. Said I should have the truck by end of April. Believe it or not, I have so much carp going on right now that even if my truck does come in at the end of April I don't see me getting to pick it up until mid May at the earliest.

So, still waiting for my truck to be delivered. It has been almost 7 weeks since I ordered the truck. I was told by the dealer about 2 + weeks ago it was in Illinois. Then just a few day later it was in Roper UT stilling at the West Coast Chrysler distribution yard. Thought cool it just has to get on a truck to Caldwell in the next couple days. Well I was told the truck should be in last Tuesday (4 days ago). Then he told me should be Thursday. Still nothing. It sounds like they can get notifications of where the truck is sitting but not when it is scheduled to ship out from any one location to notified it is actually in transit. So, it seems like my truck has been parked in Roper, UT for the last week + waiting to get on a truck.

I was suppose to be in Boise tonight to pay and drive the truck home this weekend. Now, with my son's sports schedule, I may not be able to get up to Boise until third week in May even if it came in tomorrow. You guys are right when you mentioned that the closer you get to receiving your truck the worse the wait becomes. Starting to kill me.

Damn I saw prices of $500 from ny . Your almost next door to dd compared to me. Congrats on the truck. I considered granite , true blue, and cherry red. I just never had white and see how clean my girl friends car stays

I like white too but I drive a white 1500 QC company truck for work everyday so I needed something different in color.

Got a call from Dennis Dillon that my truck has arrived, finally. Unfortunately, i don't know when I will be able to fly up and drive back. My son has his last reg season baseball game this weekend and then if they do well in the playoffs they could play for another two weeks. Well at least it is in and they can get the bed sprayed and the wheel to wheel steps installed along with the weather techs. Total time from order to delivery today was just under 8 weeks.

Congrats on the truck!! I guess you could always take some days off of work and go up during the week. Plane tickets might be cheaper too. :)

I could but I try to save the vacation days. I get 4 weeks a year and already have 3 weeks spoken for. The other 5 days are for several other long weekends I need to take later in the year. Plane tickets are from $140-$360 depending in how many days advance Purchase I can get. I was going to go this weekend but as an assistant coach for my kids BB team I have to be coach at the game Saturday. The head coach is at the NFL draft.

When you order a truck and get the figures for it with all applicable incentives, can you negotiate the price even lower like you can with a truck on the lot?
