Purchased a 2026 last week with the Hurricane engine. Had a '25 but with the amount of miles I drove, the interest rate I was paying from an August '24 purchase, and issues (mostly engine/electrical) I had with the truck, I decided to trade it in.

While driving down a flat highway with cruise control on in this '26, I have noticed that the RPMs 'oscillate' slightly (approximately 25-75rpm) and rhythmically - almost like a pulse. To clarify, here is a video of it.

I noticed this because my '25 had multiple electrical issues and due to major frustrations about the repairs I nervously watched my '25 1500's RPMs often and noticed that the dial was always static.

No performance issues or anything on this '26 while the oscillations are happening - it drives absolutely normal. Also noticed multiple times while sitting at a red light that there were no oscillations occurring.

No issues with this '26 other than curious about this 'pulsing' RPM gauge. Just curious as much as wanting to know if there is anything to be concerned about.

seems fishy

Easiest thing is just give it to the Dealer to fix it since your new truck is under warranty and you just bought it.Never experienced that per se.It could be anything, computer, alternator drag, sensor ,gauge, etc. .Sorry for your luck with the old truck.Hoping your new truck gives you many years of good sevice after this gremlin is fixed

Looks barely noticeable. Not sure if it's something to worry about.
