I'm waiting for the Gen 3 D's to grow on me. Took me 4 years to get used to the gen 2. Took me 7 to like the gen 1. I'm not ready for the new ones yet.

That said, who the hell cares what I think? It's a nice ride and I am sure you thoroughly enjoy it.

We do. It has some minor issues, but I think they are fixable.

Positive things so far:

- Great size, enough space and drives like a car.
- Suspension is already 20mm lowered, firm and allowes carving corners just like you can do with a sporty coupe.
- Hemi produces plenty of power.
- Good MPG's
- Nice ambiance
- Mercedes-Benz features, like unibody platform, key, turn signals in mirror, dimming mirror glass, manual tip shift (left - right), electronic rear door with remote, keyless go, tilting mirrors when backing up, etc.
- Plenty of flexibility inside with 3rd row folding seats.
- Affordable.
- Proven technology.
- Service every 10k mls.
- No acclimatization, easy operation.
- Lots of system options to choose from.

Negative things so far:

- The A/T thinking time too long while hard accelerating.
- Brake pedal is way too soft.
- Brake system not aggressive enough.
- Plastic interior looks/feels cheap incl. buttons on steering wheel.
- Chrome interior totally out of place, would rather see carbon fiber trim or matte black.
- Noisy interior.
- Key is big and annoying in pocket, always afraid to hit a button.

I'm waiting for an aftermarket brake system (drilled and slotted).
