Over head console install 2018 tradesman/express/ST 1500

I'd like to install an over head console with map lights etc. Is this prewired from the factory or will I need to tap into the dome light for power? How easy is the install? If there is a thread for this please by all means point me in the right direction. Tradesman/Express? According to my insurance company I have a Tradesman according to the window sticker it's an Express, according to the build sheet it's Ram ST. How the heck do I find out what truck model do I have. And what/who do I trust? Thanks in advance for the help/advice.

If your truck has the color matched front and rear sport type bumpers it's an Express. On the 13 to 17 Rams if you add the overhead console in your truck doesn't currently have it there will be no wires present for the install. You will need to cut the headliner install the bracket and tap into your existing wiring to get power for the lights.
