2014 2500. 52k. Completely stock and not abused.

Dealer diagnosed and reported they are replacing torque converter and pump. This vehicle has been very well maintained (bought new) and not beat on in any way. What would cause failure with this low milage?

Fluid level / quality good. No other symptoms beside CEL.

I read all the time folks increasing performance and having issues but I haven't done nothing.

Two weeks ago the same dealer replaced turbo actuator. Are these trucks built that poorly?

Please, any insight would be appreciated.

I’m having the same exact issue. Just got a P0740 code. If you don’t mind me asking how much did the dealer charge for the Turbo Actuator, the Torque Converter, and pump replacement? I think my actuator just went out (no code but turbo isn’t spooling I lost my exhaust brake / exhaust brake triggering when I accelerate). What were your symptoms with the actuator?
