well I have the P0500 error, abs + brake light on, speedometer inop, and need to let go of the gas for shift problem...

I replaced the sensor on the rear axle, checked the abs fuse and checked the cable near the sensor. still have the issue. I suspect it's corrosion at the ABS module connector, haven't had a chance to dig into that.

anything else I need to look at?

Thanks

I had a chance to pull the ABS CAB connector and check things out.

1) I can measure resistance between 1 and 8 (rear sensor) about 2k Ohms
2) B+ voltage is OK at both pins 7 and 14 with respect to 6 and 13 (GRND)
3) pin 4 has voltage with ignition on

So, the module has power and sensor input. Either the module is bad, or it's speed data connection to the PCM is bust. I suspect the ABS module. what's not clear to me is if the CAB can be detached from the HCU without leaking fluid. it sits flush with it.

can the CAB be replaced without bleeding the brakes?
