so I called the reps at pacesetter about pn: 70-2211 and the guy was lets say less than knowledgable but he told me they don't work because they hit the floor pan he didn't say which side hits but this dosent sound right because the cab is the same as any other truck up front so how it hits I have no idea. Any one have any thoughts on this?

also I just found these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/psm-70-1375/overview/ how do you guys these would work? worth the money?

Doing some quick research you need to be looking at the 2500 header setups.

From the motor back its all the same under your truck as a 2500 qc long bed except for a few extra body mounts. any set of headers you get for a 2500 will fit. the reason the 1500 headers say no mega cab is because the IFS in the 1500's. the 2500 have a moving front drive shaft when you go over bumps and a different steering setup then the 1500's.

Ok so even the mid lengths that I posted won't work? What do you even think about mid lengths? Are the worth it?

BBK shorties are your best bang for the buck for a fairly easy install.

So i live in a climate and province where the winter's snow and ice is combatted with extreme amounts of salt. I like the price of the pacesetter lt's and these bbk shortys but dont want to see my otherwise all stainless exhaust system get all nasty...

Arguments/ opinions? Save up and get a stainless headers is the right answer i know :p
But maybe someone with experience might step in and say its not so bad :)

Ceramic coated Pacesetter LTs here and I love them. Also did the magnaflow high-flow cats, & magnaflow exhaust si/do with custom piping to both sides behind the wheels with powder coated tips. Didn't do the install myself but the shop that did had no problems that a few cuss words didn't resolve.

Sounds good! If i go LT then it will be with mag high flow cats but what im debating is to say **** duals, go ORY and some sort of see-through muffler :p and dumped somewhen around the axle
Reduced cost and install time, and weight savings :p
If i ever need to go duals chop it at the ORY and start from there :)

So I realize this thread is old, but I'm trying to find out if these pacesetters can fit on a 2005 2500 Hemi?
I see from this that the suspension might interfere? But what if the truck is lifted? that would give extra clearance right?

And what's different about the steering exactly? I'm getting a 2005 2500 soon, and I've already ordered the pacesetters because I've been told that they will fit.....but wth....this is a very confusing subject.

also what's the difference between the American Racing Headers RM25-02134300LSNC vs the pace setters, because the ARH headers are listed as fitting the 2005 2500, and they don't really look all that different from the pacesetters
